Welcome to reviewmyroll.com, a site for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and other grappling arts athletes to get professional advice on their performance. The idea is that an athlete whom would like to improve can gain positive, critical feedback from one of the reviewmyroll.com coaches by uploading a video of their performance.


Below is an example. This is not the interface that will be used, simply a proof of concept.

How it works
  1. An Athlete posts a video of their performance via their account (free sign up). It could be a competitive roll, flow roll, or drill etc and posts a question about a concern they are having.
    • The video is placed in a "review pool" where all reviewmyroll.com coaches can view it.
  2. A Coach logs-in and views the Athlete's video.
    • A Coach selects the video as he has a solution to help the athlete.
  3. The Coach records a response specificity addressing athlete's concern which may include specific advice on correcting a weakness, technique correction, providing opinions or alternative techniques. Drills to practice for improvement. Up to 5 minutes in duration.
    • Coach posts video back to athlete, athlete receives notification of completed review
  4. Athlete logs-in and views their review. 
  5. Go Train!
  6. Athlete films similar performance or new scenario and uploads for review, asking new questions and continually improves with professional guidance.
    • They may select the "same coach" or "any coach" option for subsequent reviews.
